Coronavirus Update
Whilst thankfully it looks like we are approaching the end of the coronavirus Global Pandemic we understand there are many hurdles to overcome yet. Since our last update, we can inform you that our team have been undergoing regular lateral flow Covid-19 tests and a number of us have received the vaccine to allow us to continue to safely service our customers. Whilst on-site, our engineers observe all social distancing guidelines and always wear a mask irrespective of the site. This ensures the safety of our staff and the people onsite to allow us to continue providing our services to our clients.
Consistency is Key to Beat Coronavirus
This consistency of approach has been crucial when considering the nature of the organisations we serve. Ongoing contracts with establishments such as our University customers have meant students are still on site when we are carrying out our work. Not to mention care homes where our meticulous approach to safety guidelines are paramount around people that are at high risk.
We are very proud of our cautious approach which will limit the spread of the virus. We have a number of guidelines in place which included a number of office staff working from home, split shifts and sensible segregation of our office space. This approach, both at the workplace and at home has meant to date we have had no outbreaks of the virus within the gas pipes team.
Essential Business
This has meant, as an essential business, we have been able to continue to provide essential repairs. These have included welding and installation & repair of many types of pipework. The pipework we have had callouts for included gas, steam, oil and water. As well as providing emergency call-out services for leaks, including commercial & industrial gas pipe leaks
