Whilst thankfully it looks like we are approaching the end of the coronavirus Global Pandemic we understand there are many hurdles to overcome yet. Since our last update, we can inform you that our team have been undergoing regular lateral flow Covid-19 tests and a number of us have received the vaccine to allow us to continue to safely service our customers. Whilst on-site, our engineers observe all social distancing guidelines and always wear a mask irrespective of the site. This ensures the safety of our staff and the people onsite to allow us to continue providing our services to our clients.

Electrofusion Welding

Electrofusion welding is a form of resistive implant welding used to join plastic pipework. A fitting with implanted metal coils is placed around the two ends of pipes that need to be joined. A current is then passed through the coils. Resistive heating of the coils melts small amounts of the pipe endings.  The two ends of the pipes are compressed together and upon solidification, a joint is formed.

Government Guidelines

To reduce the risk of spreading the virus and allow us to continue serving as an essential business, we have been adhering to the current government guidelines.  We have successfully provisioned a number of our employees with technology to work from home where possible. We remain confident we are meeting your needs whilst meeting guidelines regarding social distancing and sanitising.

We had a project to design, manufacture, install and test a large number of gas pipes for a Telford pipeline project. Telford is located in the stunning borough of Shropshire.  It is well known for the world-famous Ironbridge, not to mention the Telford and Shropshire’s Severn Valley.

Along with pipework installations and groundwork, we also pride ourselves on the in-house manufacture of pipework that is used on the Telford pipeline. This is carried out by our expert team of engineers.
