A Fortnight in the Life of the gas pipes team
Here we take a look into the life of the Gas Pipes team! They have had a very busy few weeks that take them across the whole of the UK mainland and working across a variety of industries and situations. As our name suggested ‘Gas Pipes’, We do in fact cover a wide variety of pipework, like water, oil, and steam to name but a few.
The Summary
Below is a quick summary of the type of jobs we have been asked to attend over the last two weeks. This is not a complete list, but it does give you an idea of what we can do!
- Sitewide pipework issues at a site of Historical importance and now used for educational purposes.
- Replacement pipework project around a commercial building and its multistorey car park.
- Site survey and replacement of ageing stack pipes at an apartment block in London.
- Investigating a possible gas leak at a large car manufacturing factory.
- New water pipe installation at a farm with relevant groundwork carried out.
- The relocation of gas pipework at a hotel in the North West and a site in Yorkshire.
- The inspection of and potential replacement of overground gas pipework at a University.
- A replacement and repositioning of a gas booster.
- To inspect a damaged water pipe, that required replacing.
